
In conjunction with MANNA food bank, COAbc has added a new program called CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program).
CSFP is a Federal program of NC Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services, with food provided by USDA. COAbc’s Resource Coordination team of specialists will screen applications and determine eligibility (consumers will self-report income and must be at 130% of poverty guidelines or less).
Food packages include a variety of foods, such as nonfat dry and ultra high-temperature fluid milk, juice, farina, oats, ready-to-eat cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat, poultry, or fish, and canned fruits and vegetables.
