Seniors Safe at Home
Sometimes a little extra help is all you need to keep living independently and safely at home. The Council on Aging (COA) offers a variety of services that enable older people to be safe, comfortable and independent at home and to get out into the community. If you would like more information or have questions regarding access to any of the services listed below, please email us your name, the best way to contact you and the zip code of the person needing assistance. A Services Specialist will be in touch with you promptly.

Council On Aging of Buncombe County has Services Specialists on site at Vanderbilt Apartments and Battery Park Apartments through a contracted service with National Church Residences of Columbus, Ohio. These coordinators work with the residents of these buildings in an effort to link them with community services that allow them to remain in independent living.
