CAPES - Caring for Aging Parent Education and Support
Caring for Aging Parents Education and Support Program (CAPES) is an education and support group for anyone caring for, or concerned about, an aging parent.
CAPES was founded in 2005 to meet the needs of caregivers through support, resources and education.
Meetings are held monthly, alternating between a support group format and combined support and resource/education presentation. Topics include dementia, legal issues, coping with stress, self-care, community resources and making difficult decisions.
Participants are welcome to attend according to their individual needs. There is no charge for participating or making use of the CAPES resources.
